Before founding Koan Health, DT served as the President of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for MedAssets (now FinThrive). During his tenure, the company achieved remarkable success, including six consecutive #1 KLAS® rankings, a successful NASDAQ IPO, and recognition as one of the nation’s premier RCM companies. These achievements demonstrate DT's exceptional leadership and strategic insight.
From 1998 to 2007, DT was the visionary founder and CEO of XactiMed, Inc., a disruptive SaaS company focused on revolutionizing revenue cycle management. Under DT’s leadership, XactiMed achieved top rankings from KLAS® and was acquired by MedAssets, Inc. in 2007.
Previously, DT held senior executive positions at IPN Network L.P. and FoxMeyer Health Corporation (acquired by McKesson in 1996), two of the nation's foremost wholesale drug distributors. These roles provided invaluable insights into the interconnectedness of various industry sectors, profoundly shaping DT's understanding of the healthcare landscape's complexities. DT also founded and led U.S. HealthData Interchange, a pioneering healthcare technology company that helped establish the first national healthcare information exchange.
